The Institute for Quantitative Research in Europe (Inquire Europe) is a cooperative, non-profit professional organization which was founded in Berlin in 1990. The institute was established to unite investment professionals interested in the development of quantitative solutions to financial and investment problems.
Our purpose is to improve investment decisions by sharing relevant scientific knowledge in an independent European community. We encourage the practical application of advanced quantitative methods in investment management and we support applied research in finance.
We provide financial support for academic research projects in the field of investment management and issue a call for research papers twice a year, awarding multiple research grants. Members of Inquire Europe have access to the newest financial research. Since 2000, almost 150 of our sponsored research projects have been published in academic financial journals.
The institute hosts spring and fall seminars annually providing a pivotal time for members and industry leaders to convene. The networking element of these seminars has been of great value uniting Inquire Europe members for 30 years.
Inquire Europe members consist of a broad range of banks, stock brokers, consulting firms, insurance companies, investment advisors, independent money managers and pension funds.
