About Inquire Europe
The Institute for Quantitative Research in Europe (Inquire Europe) is a cooperative, non-profit professional organization which was formed in Berlin in 1990. The institute was established to bring together investment professionals interested in the development of quantitative solutions to financial and investment problems.
Inquire Europe provides financial support for academic research projects which have the potential to yield useful insights for the field of investment management.
The purpose of Inquire Europe is to: encourage the use of the practical application of advanced quantitative methods in investment management, to foster developments in the study of finance and to support basic and applied research in the field of financial analysis in the European Common Market.
Inquire Europe members consist of a broad range of banks, stock brokers, consulting firms, insurance companies, investment advisors, independent money managers and pension funds. The institute hosts spring and fall seminars annually, providing a pivotal time for members and industry leaders to convene. Inquire Europe also places a call for research twice annually, and awards multiple research grants annually.
