Autumn Seminar Inquire Europe (2008)
5 October - 7 October 2008, Bordeaux, France

As part of its activities, the Institute for Quantitative Investment Research (INQUIRE) Europe, organizes an annual symposium. A major part of the conference will be devoted to

"Liquidity, credit and risk".

Authors, both academics and from the financial industry, are invited to submit papers for presentation at the symposium. Papers should have a quantitative background, with empirical testing of models, or other practical relevance and applications. The audience of the Inquire symposium consists of financial professionals, mostly asset managers, all with experience in quantitative analysis of financial markets. A typical presentation will last ca. 45 minutes, plus discussion with the audience.

Papers for presentation will be selected by the program committee of Inquire. Completed papers (including a 200 words abstract on separate sheets) should be sent before 5 May 2008 to Theo Nijman at Theo.Nijman@uvt.nl (no hardcopies required). Selection will be based on full papers.

Papers on other topics in quantitative investment analysis are also welcomed.
INQUIRE will pay the travel (economy class) and lodging expenses for the speakers at the meeting.

There are prizes for the best papers presented at the meeting, selected by the prize committee of INQUIRE Europe. The amount of the first prize is € 4000, the second prize is € 2000 and the third prize is € 1000.
